I will read your full manuscript with a critical eye on the big picture of your work — the structure, the characters, the plot, the settings, the point of view and perspective voice, the message, and more — giving you ways to think through the potential impact of your work on your target reading audience as well as recommendations for elevating your manuscript to reach reader expectations.

• Turn around time on Developmental edits is 2-3 week depending on the length of the work  
• What the turnaround time includes: 1 full read-through of your manuscript, 1 developmental reading to add comments and track changes to your manuscript, plus necessary time to organize my thoughts and plan and write an editorial memo, so you know what to expect when you open your manuscript again

I will be reading your full manuscript with a critical eye on the individual sentences of your work and how they combine for character, theme, message, and reader impact — the paragraphing, the antecedent assignments, the flow of language balanced against the pacing, the immersion of point of view and perspective voice, including refinement, and more — giving you a sentence-by-sentence fully tracked manuscript. 

• Average turnaround time: 2 – 3 weeks depending on manuscript length
• What the turnaround time includes: 1 full read-through of your manuscript, 1 language combing at the sentence level to track changes within your manuscript, plus necessary time to organize my thoughts write an editorial memo.

I will read your full manuscript with a critical eye on the individual sentences of your work and how they combine for clarity, concision, cohesion, and correctness — the grammar, the word usage, the syntax of voice development, the punctuation, including refinement, and more — giving you a fully tracked manuscript that is grammatically correct and sound. Please note, I can't deliver perfection, and I am a firm believer that when it comes to fiction writing one should play fast and loose with rules when it makes sense to do so. 

• Average turnaround time: 1 – 2 weeks
• What the turnaround time includes: 1 full read-through of your manuscript (if applicable), 1 sentence-level grammar edit to track changes within your manuscript, plus necessary time to organize my thoughts and write an editorial memo. 

I will be acting as an ideal reader diving into your manuscript for true errors that may cause reader hang-ups and make your novel look less polished than it could otherwise be. 

• Average turnaround time: 1 – 2 weeks
• What the turnaround time includes: 1 sentence-level final-errors reading to catch true errors within your manuscript.

Developmental, Line, Or Copy Edit of your short story of 8,000 words or less (I will accept over 8,000 but under 9,000 on a case by case basis in this category)
